An electronic vignette is an electronic document that certifies the paid fee for using the republican road network in Bulgaria. It replaces the physical vignette and is linked directly to the vehicle’s registration number. It does not need to be placed on the vehicle’s windshield.

An electronic vignette can be purchased online through the official website of the Road Infrastructure Agency or through authorized partners such as Avtovia.bg. All you need is the vehicle’s registration number, country of registration and choice of validity period. Payment is made by bank card or other electronic methods.

The electronic vignette is activated immediately after successful payment. For weekend and weekly vignettes, activation is instant. For monthly, quarterly and annual vignettes, you can choose a start date within 30 days in advance.
